The story behind

Artist Virginie Jasmin drew inspiration from a 19th century illustrated catalogue by “Moseman & Brother” when drawing this portrait of a saddle. The layers of cut leather panels form a structure, taking the eyes on an adventure along decorative graphic lines. The purity of the lines is enhanced by the liveliness and vitality of watercolor strokes, giving the design strength and intensity.
